Uppercase Magazine

So excited to curl up with one of my very favorite magazines this morning. Issue 42 features some of my editorial work which was my answer to the magazine’s prompt: “Flaws, imperfections, mistakes, cracks, breaks… there’s beauty—and wisdom—in imperfection. Share your thoughts on what it means to be perfectly imperfect.”

Bugs are gettin' so fancy!

I hike A LOT. And I tend to always look down when I do. It’s a habit I’ve tried to break, but then I find amazing little trail treasures like this iridescent tiger beetle. Even though I drew him as if he’d joined a 19th century bug collection in the Smithsonian, I assure you he’s still out there in the wild living his best life.

Wrapping up the 100 Day Project
